Free Hypnosis Audios: What They Do and Where to Start
Curious about hypnosis but not ready to book? The free audios on Melissa’s YouTube channel are the perfect first step. Here’s how to get the most out of them.
One of the most common things I hear on discovery calls is: “I’ve never been hypnotized. What if it doesn’t work on me?”
The free audios on my YouTube channel exist exactly for that. They’re short, guided hypnosis and relaxation recordings you can try tonight, from your own couch, for free. No appointment, no pressure. Just an easy way to experience what a deeply relaxed, focused mind feels like.
How to get the most out of them
- Use headphones. The recordings work best when the outside world fades.
- Pick a time you won’t be interrupted. Bedtime is perfect for the sleep audios, and it’s fine to drift off.
- Don’t try to “do it right.” There’s no test. Wandering thoughts are normal; the relaxation works anyway.
- Repeat them. Like anything the mind learns, repetition is what builds the groove. Most people notice the effect deepening by the third or fourth listen.
- Never listen while driving. Obvious, but worth saying.
What a free audio can (and can’t) do
A general recording can teach your nervous system to downshift, which helps with sleep, stress, and everyday overwhelm. What it can’t do is find and heal your specific root causes. That’s what a one-on-one RTT session is for: the audio you receive afterwards is built around your exact beliefs, in the words your subconscious responds to most.
Think of the free audios as the warm-up, and a lovely habit in their own right.
